Delta Direct Install for iPhone: One-Tap Setup

Direct Install puts Delta on your iPhone straight from Safari. No computer, no ESign. Here is how it works, why it sometimes stops and what to do when it does.

Open Direct Install

How Direct Install works

Direct Install uses an enterprise-style certificate to sign the Delta app on a server. When you tap the install link in Safari, iOS downloads an already-signed copy, so you skip the signing step entirely.

The catch is that Apple revokes these certificates regularly. When that happens, Delta stops opening on every phone that used the same certificate. A new certificate usually goes live within a day or two, and you simply install again.

Step by step

  1. Open the Direct Install link in Safari (not Chrome or an in-app browser).
  2. Tap Install and confirm the pop-up.
  3. Go to the home screen and wait for the Delta icon to finish loading.
  4. Open Settings › General › VPN & Device Management, tap the enterprise profile and choose Trust.
  5. Restart if asked, open Delta, log in to a spare Roblox account and grab your key.

Direct Install vs signer

  • Direct Install: fastest, no extra apps
  • Signer: same speed if you already use ESign/KSign
  • Sideloadly: slowest setup, but almost never revoked

Full comparison on the Delta iOS page.

Privacy note: some Direct Install services also ask you to install a configuration profile. Never install a profile that asks to manage your device (MDM) or a VPN profile you did not request.

Direct Install not working?

“Unable to install Delta. Please try again later.”

The certificate is revoked or the server is busy. Wait a few hours and try again, or use the signer method in our iOS guide.

The app icon is grey and stuck

Delete the grey icon, restart your iPhone and install again on Wi-Fi.

I do not see the profile in Settings

Open Delta once first. iOS only shows the developer profile after you try to launch the app.
