Error Code 317: “This Place Has Enabled Additional Hardware Security Requirements”

Getting kicked with error 317 while using Delta Executor? It means the game you joined checks your device more strictly and does not accept modified clients. Here is what that means and what you can actually do.

What it means

What is error code 317 in Roblox?

Some Roblox experiences turn on extra device security checks. When you join one of them, Roblox verifies that you are using a genuine, unmodified client on a supported device. Delta is a modified client, so it fails that check and Roblox shows: “This place has enabled additional hardware security requirements” (Error Code: 317).

This is set by the game, not by Delta. That is why one game shows error 317 while another game works fine in the same Delta build.

What you can do

How to deal with error 317 on Delta Executor

Make sure Delta is up to date. An outdated build can fail checks that a newer one passes. Compare your version with the update tracker.
Restart Delta and rejoin. Close Delta from recent apps, reopen it and try another server of the same game.
Check your device. Rooted Android phones, emulators and very old devices fail these checks more often.
Try a different game. If a game keeps showing 317 on the newest build, it is blocking modified clients on purpose. Play it on the normal Roblox app instead.

There is no safe “317 bypass”. Pages and Discord servers selling a bypass for error 317 are scams or malware. Do not paste your Roblox cookie or install extra apps to “unlock” a game.

Error 317: questions players ask

Is error 317 a ban?

No. It only means you cannot join that specific game with a modified client. Your account is not banned by this error.

Does a VPN fix error 317?

No. The check is about your client and device, not your location.

Will Delta ever fix error 317?

Only if a future Delta build passes the game’s checks. For games that block executors on purpose, there may never be a fix.
